Question 1. What kind of medical treatment is offered through your Urgent Care?
Pediatric Urgent Care of Sacramento and Rancho Cordova specializes in "non-critical" care for patients age newborn to 21 years. Our experienced staff will treat things like asthma, minor lacerations, wounds and burns, strains and sprains, rashes, fevers, colds, flu, viral illness, ear, throat, and sinus infections to name a few!

Pediatric Urgent Care of Sacramento is open:
Monday - Friday 6PM to 10PM
Saturday, Sunday and most holidays 10AM to 10PM

Pediatric Urgent Care of Rancho Cordova is open:
Monday - Friday 6PM to 9PM
Saturday & Sunday Closed

No appointment is necessary and we accept most insurance plans.

Question 2. Do I need to call my regular doctor first to get permission?
It is always a good idea to call your regular doctor for advice first. We work hand in hand with your primary care physician to coordinate your child's care. After your child's visit we will send a copy of your child's visit note to your Primary Doctor so they have IMMEDIATE information on what was wrong with your child and what treatment was given.

Question 3. What makes you different than other Urgent Care Centers?
Pediatric Urgent Care was started in 1999 by local pediatricians who recognized the need for a place children could receive quality and efficient healthcare at night, on weekends and on holidays, when doctor's offices are regularly closed. Sometimes your child's condition can't wait for your doctor's office to open, but your child doesn't need an emergency room either. Pediatric Urgent Care fills that gap! We specialize in the urgent conditions of children. Our staff is very experienced and we are kid approved!
